Delivering Me – Confessions of a GlamaDasher

Running a Home, a Hustle, and a Lead Role—One Dash at a Time.

Welcome to Delivering Me – Confessions of a GlamaDasher
This space is where my wheels meet the world—and I document the ride.

I’m a mother, writer, academic leader, and full-time professional with a busy schedule and a love for exploring life beyond the desk. DoorDashing started as a side activity borne out of boredom but quickly became something deeper: a way to connect with my city, use my free time meaningfully, and spark unexpected conversations with people from all walks of life.

When I lived in a rural town, platforms like these didn’t operate in my area—I watched from the sidelines but then, my children were younger and I could connect with people through their activities. But now in a different city and my children all grown, I find that I am wallowing in isolation. A friend suggested DoorDashing and I decided to give it a try. Now, I’m on the road, catching up, making a little extra, and living the local experience in real time.

Here, I share stories from the driver’s seat: funny moments, surprising encounters, reflections on identity, and the strange poetry of pickup and drop-off. You’ll find laughter, learning, and the little things that remind me how dynamic life can be when you step outside.

This isn’t about struggle—it’s about movement, curiosity, and crafting a life with color and intention.

Thanks for riding along.
